Another Chapter Closing

It's New Year's Eve...wow...I'm feeling emotional already. Looking back, man what a tough year it has been for me. It feels like there's this big void, a huge gap in the year because I struggled so much mainly in my health, faith and work. It left me most of the time, incapacitated, in so many ways. Until today, I still don't have the answers that I'm looking for, and wondering how all the pieces fit together.

But in the past 3 months, I was challenged to hope again, to have faith, to fight even when I'm down, to push through even when there's nothing left in me to do so, and learn to give thanks through every season, for there is power in thanksgiving coz you proclaim and say God is still God, He is Sovereign, surrendering in humility to His plans and will that we cannot fathom or understand, and speak blessings into your situation and future when you say "I am blessed".

Despite the heart aches and a little less joy this year, I will close this year with thanksgiving. Father, I thank you for:

• My family, even though they didn't understand or how to cope, but they were still tolerant and tried to be patient with me.
• My friends, for always challenging and encouraging me, for being there and loving me.
• Bringing back old friends that I've not seen in a long time. 
• My moving on from JCWorks and from YC to Evening Service, a new time of growth again, not just for me, but for everyone.
• The first trip to Sabah for the Worship Central Conference, despite my health going haywire, You still used me powerfully to teach and minister to Your church.
• Our combine Worship Camp with FGA Singapore and we wrote a bunch of amazing songs.
• The job interviews that I've got and some miscellaneous opportunities like Data Entry and Teaching.
• Provision, and that it never runs out.
• The Creative opportunities that I had, which some were things that I've dreamt about:

           - Juicer Events - choreographing performances and decos

           - Weddings - coordinations, choreography, song performances (wrote a song)

           - Starring in a Video Shoot - Ladies' Night Juicer

           - Directing a Video Shoot - My Life In Christ (Greater Things Conference 2010)

           - Auditioning, performing with and arranging choir scores for Caipifruta

           - Recording and sequencing for Public Bank's Event

           - Choreography for Accenture Company Event

           - Performing at Family Life Movie Night & Father's Day

What I look forward to in this coming year, is getting a job and working again for that would help ease the financial burden on my family and myself plus it'll be healthy to get this body going again. I'm also looking forward to better health, over coming my struggles, and fresh new exciting things.
